The Responsibility of the First Aider
 
1. Assess the situtation
a. Be calm and take charge.
b. Give confidence to the casualty ; talk to him, listen to him, reassure him.
c. Ensure safety to yourself, the casualty and any bystanders.
d. Make full use of the bystanders (Keep them occupied; the more jobs they are gievn to do, the less they will interfere with your work) .
